Disclosure Statement for Funding Hub Limited

Business Overview

Funding Hub Limited and its advisers may, at times, provide regulated financial  advice (as defined by the FMA) in relation to consumer credit contracts, including  Home Loans. This advice may be given on its own or as part of a broader business  lending arrangement.

Licensing Information

Funding Hub Limited (FSP 1007695), trading as Funding Hub, is a licensed Class 2 Financial Advice Provider (FAP) under the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013. We are regulated by the Financial Markets Authority (FMA) to provide financial advice services in New Zealand.

Nature and Scope of Financial Advice

Funding Hub financial advisors provides services focused on lending products, including residential mortgages and a wide range of commercial and asset finance solutions.

Residential Lending

We offer advice on home loan products from a selected panel of lenders. This advice  may be provided:

  • As a standalone service for personal or investment property purchases.
  • As part of a broader business finance strategy, where residential lending  supports commercial or asset-based borrowing.

Our approach allows us to structure finance solutions that are tailored to the specific  needs, industry, and growth objectives of each business client. 

Limitations

We do not provide financial advice on insurance or investment products.

Conflicts of Interest and Incentives

Funding Hub Limited and its financial advisers may receive commissions from lenders when a loan is arranged through us. These commissions are paid by the lender and are based on the loan amount.

Typical Home Loan commission structures include:

  • Upfront Commission: Ranges from 0.55% to 0.85% of the loan value,  depending on the lender and loan type.
  • Trail Commission: Some lenders pay an ongoing trail commission of 0.00% to  0.25% annually, based on the remaining loan balance.

To manage potential conflicts of interest:

  • We follow a structured advice process focused on your financial goals and  circumstances.
  • Our advisers receive regular training on conflict management.
  • We conduct annual compliance audits and reviews through an independent  compliance adviser.

We are committed to delivering transparent, client-first advice.

Fees and Expenses

In certain circumstances, we may charge fees for our services. These may apply  when: 

  • Advice is provided but no commissionable transaction occurs.
  • The lending arrangement is complex or requires significant time.
  • Finance is approved but the transaction does not proceed. 
  • A loan is repaid early, resulting in a commission clawback from the lender. 

 

Clawback Recovery Fee: If a loan is repaid early and the lender reclaims  commission, we may charge a recovery fee. For commercial or asset finance, this  fee is assessed on a case-by-case basis. 

Any applicable fees will be disclosed and agreed upon before proceeding with any  service.

Complaints Handling and Dispute Resolution

We aim to provide excellent service. If you have a complaint, please follow these  steps: 

  1. Initial Resolution Contact your adviser directly to discuss the issue. We aim to resolve  complaints within 7 working days. If more time is needed, we will keep you  informed

Funding Hub and its advisers are bound by the duties set out in the Financial  Markets Conduct Act 2013 and the Code of Professional Conduct for Financial  Advice Services. These include: 

  • Acting in your best interests and giving priority to your needs.
  • Providing advice with care, diligence, and skill. 
  • Meeting competence, knowledge, and skill standards. 
  • Complying with ethical and professional conduct obligations.
